1. Mechanical Lifting EffectThe threads act as a supportive scaffolding structure beneath the skin, gently lifting and holding tissues in place to restore a firmer, more youthful appearance.

It can define facial contour, elevate cheeks , sagging jowells ,  lift brow , lift nose, rejuvenates skin, smooth  wrinkles, brighten tone of skin, improve stretch marks and scars, option out of surgery with  more natural results lasting up to 18 months. 

1- Mono threads (smooth) : inserted into skin subdermis for its tightening effect by  collagen production. When they have good thickeness,  they can be  used like fillers in nasolabial folds. They are used to complement Botox in Frontal and glabelar lines 

2- Cog threads : these are threads which have barbs   to hook on the subcutaneous layer. They are used for lifting and repositioning facial structures for smoothing and contouring face as nasolabial folds, Marionette, Jowells , 

It usually takes from 30-80 min depending on number of threads , facial or body area involved, Because we use lidocaine local injection to numb the area, there may be local swelling after procedure lasting for few days. So it is wise to take 2-3 days off work after the procedure. 

Post procedure precautions: It is usually advised to restrain from exercise and vigrous activity for two weeks. It is also  advised to restrict movement of the mouth during eating , talking and  laughing for about 3 -4 weeks to prevent tension on threads which can affect the resutls.
